Mike loved his family whole-heartedly and had a special place for the children in his life. Mike enjoyed grilling, family gath- erings and all outdoor sports, especially fishing the Texas Coast. He was always the one to catch the "Big One" when others could not even get a bite. He enjoyed relaxing and sunning at the beach or by the pool and watching the sunset with his wife and best friend, Eloisa. Mike was the biggest fan of the Texas Longhorns, which was evident to all who knew him because the major- ity of his wardrobe was burnt orange and listening to "The Eyes of Texas" on the radio at noon was part of his daily rou- tine.
