Page 2C HEAD Dennis Jesse Head was born in Salina, Kansas, March 30, 1943 and passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2011 at the age of 67. Den- nis was a south Austinite his entire life and resided in the Manchaca area the past 20 years. He was in the con- struction business for many years until starting his own NF.16HBORS concrete company, Southwest Concrete, Inc. What a life! He lived to the fullest- racing cars and boats! He set a speed record in boat racing that stood for many years and tinkered with the fast cars until the day he passed. His parents, Jesse and Helen Head, preceded Den- nis in death. He is survived by his son Rusty Head and wife Michelle of Buda; sister, Linda Beaver and husband Guy; brother, Walter Head and wife Dianna; stepchildren, Michelle Head-Blalack, Jason, Jack and Ty Jack; and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He leaves behind many friends and co-workers. The family wishes to thank everyone for support and love during this time and wish that' all memorial contributions be made to Hays Hills Baptist Church, 1401 FM 1626, Buda, Texas 78610. Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 26, at Harrell Funeral Home in Kyle. Burial followed at Onion Creek Memorial Park. MORELAND Henry (H.B.) LEHMAN GRAD FINISHES AIR FORCE BASIC TRAINING U.S. Air Force airman' Pdcardo D. Lujan graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio. The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in mili- tary discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physi- cal fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. He is the son of Ricardo Lu- jan of Dandelion Loop, Kyle. Lujan graduated in 2008 from Lehman High School. MOORE'S IN THE ARMY NOW Army Pvt. Clayton J. Moore has graduated from One Sta- tion Unit Training at the U.S. Army Infantry School, Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. The training consisted of basic military training and ad- vanced individual training. He is the son of Michial Johnson of S. FM 1626, Buda, and Paula Moore of Lee Drive, Thibodaux, La. Moore is a 2010 graduate of Thibodaux High School.
