TEXAS GENERAL OBLIGATION REFUNDING BONDS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Kyle, Texas will convene at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th day of February, 2013, at its regular meeting place in the City Hall, 100 W. Center, Kyle, Texas and, during such meeting, the City Coun- cil will conduct a hearing on whether it should issue its City of Kyle, Tex- as General Obligation Refunding Bonds, Series 2013 of approximately $14,500,000 in order to refund a por- tion of its outstanding City of Kyle, Texas Combination Tax and Rev- enue Certificates, Series 2007 and to refund prior to scheduled maturity all of its State Infrastructure Bank Loan Agreement $2009-006 (FIN), City of Kyle (AUS) CSJ 0016-02-107 and 0016-02-108, originally entered into by the City in August, 2009. The pur- pose of the refunding is to provide debt service savings to the City. The City is authorized to issue refunding bonds without an elec- tion subject to Chapter 1207, Texas Government Code. The refunding bonds, if issued, will be payable from the levy of an annual ad valorem tax, within the limita- tions prescribed by law, upon all taxable property within the City.
