Johnnie Green, Lehman winter guard director, said it wil be the second year in a row the Lehman junior varsity entered the state championships ranked in the top ten. The Varsity winter guard competed for the first time this year in the "National A" class, after being promoted for its high score at the Cedar Park show three weeks ago, and came away with a first place trophy. The group, directed by Andrea Baragas, scored all ls from their judges - a feat their director termed "incredibly difficult to achieve." PHOTO BY JIM CULLEN members head for State Solo & Ensemble Lehman High School's showcase Choir program qualified a number of its members for State Solo and Ensemble competition in May at the University of Texas at Austin. Auditions were conducted at Austin McCallum High School. Six soloists and a six- member ensemble will represent the Lobos at State Solo and Ensemble. The soloists include Dalton Cunningham, David Gar- cia, Diego Gutierrez, Christian Pena, Cayden Raymond and Stefan Rodriguez. The State-qualifying Lobo ensemble includes members Brianna Boone, Gabriella Hernandez, Diego Gutierrez, Christian Pena, Izzy Robledo and Kaela Watson.
