Mr. Hoyt had been a resident of Austin since 1982. Prior to moving to Austin he retired from the USAF in San AntoniO, in 1966, with' 20 years of active duty service. During his resi- dence in San Antonio, he was a police officer with the Alamo Heights Police Department, retiring as Chief of Police, in 1979. In Austin, he retired again with C.P.P. Pinkerton Security, as Captain. He is survived by his wife Cynthia Hoyt, of Manchaca; three daughters, Carolyn Dowden, Austin, of Allen, Kyle; his son, Nick six grandchildren; children; and sister, Austin. of Austin, Peggy Crystal Joseph, of Nicholson, of Kyle: three great-grand- Dorothy English. of Funeral Services were held June 3. 2003, at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home, with Reverend Tom Gautier offi- ciating. Full military honors followed. family, Barbara Daughtery of Winterhaven, Florida; David Watson and wife, Susie, Bertram, Texas; grand- children, Clayton Rogers, Stacy and Steven Sumrall, Andy Mikulenka and wife Penny; extended grandchildren, James Mills, Amy Ashbury and husband Rick, Timmy Mills and Eric Watson; and great- grandchildren, Shane and Savannah Rogers, Justin Sumrall, Cody, Hattie, Haley and Hanna Miku(enka and Brannon Ashbury. Pallbears were Andy Mikulenka, Steve Sumrall, Larry Lerche, Randall Lerche, Mark Jutzlau and David Watson. In lieu of flowers memorial contri- butions may be made to First Baptist Church of Buda or charity of your choice. Funeral services were held Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Buda, with burial to follow at Driftwood Cemetery. WATSON Surrounded in love by her family, Caroline Delores "'Kit" Watson was called home on May 30, 2003. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hermann and Anna Jatzlau; brother, Herbert Jatzlau; sister, Sophie Lerche and daughter, Sharelle Rogers.
