("OWNER") on behalf of North Hays Municipal Utility District No. 1 ("DISTRICT") for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and performing all work required for the construction of SHADOW CREEK PHASE 9, SECTION 2 - WATER, WASTEWATER, & DRAIN- AGE IMPROVEMENTS will be received at the office of Texas Engineering Solutions, LLC ("ENGINEER") at 3815 S. Capital of TX Hwy, Suite 300, Austin, TX 78704 until Thursday, June 15th, 2017 at 2:00pm. Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud. Any proposal received after the closing time will be returned unopened. Proposals shall be plainly marked with name and address of the BIDDER and the following words: PROPOSAL FOR SHADOW CREEK PHASE 9, SECTION 2 B WATER, WASTEWATER, & DRAINAGE IMPROVE- MENTS The SHADOW CREEK PHASE 9 SECTION 2 - WATER, WASTEWATER, & DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS proposal includes approxi- mately: 29,070 SY right of way preparation; 4,051 LF of RCP storm sewer with inlets, manholes and all associated appurtenances; 5,033 LF of 8" PVC water line with fire hydrants, valves and all asso- ciated appurtenances; 4,780 LF of 8" PVC wastewater line with manholes and all as- sociated appurtenances. All work must conform to State of Texas, County of Hays and North Hays Municipal Utility District No. 1 rules and criteria. Copies of the Specifica- tions and Bidding Docu- ments may be examined or obtained from the ENGINEER on or after Wednesday, May 31st, 2017. They will be on file at the office of Texas Engineering Solutions at 3815 S. Performance and Payment Bonds shall also be executed on the forms furnished by the OWNER and shall specifically provide for "Performance" and for "Labor and Materials Payment". Each bond shall be issued in an amount of one hundred percent (100%) of contract price by a solvent Surety company, authorized to do business in the State of Texas and acceptable to the OWNER. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all bids to waive any and all techni- calities and formalities in bid- ding. The OWNER reserves the right to determine which bids are most advantageous to the OWNER and the DISTRICT, and to award the Contract on this basis. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after opening of the bids. If a submitted bid is with- drawn within said period, bid guaranty shall become the property of the OWNER, not as penalty, but as liquidated damages, or OWNER may pursue any other action allowed by law. A pre-bid conference will be held on Thursday, June 8th, 2017 at 2:00pm at the offices of the Engineer (Texas Engineering Solutions) at 3815 S. Capital of "IX Hwy, Suite 300, Austin, -IX 78704. While the pre-bid conference is not manda- tory, prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to at- tend, as well as visit the site before or after the meeting.
