Kyle police officers (center photo) distributed more than 110 bicycles to local children as part of the department's Blue Santa program. Started in the late 1990s, these programs are intended to benefit needy families in the community. HaySCounty Sheriff's Department volunteers(right photo) delivered toys and food stuffs to more than 460 needy families throughout the county through the department's Brown Santa program. Many of the sheriff's volunteers have been making deliveries for more than 10 years.
